Product description

2025 DEMO Volkl SECRET 84

Its Titanal binding construction gives it stability and allows it to transfer power without being unnecessarily heavy; a glass frame reinforces the important zones of the ski. As a result, the ski feels more lively yet softer. That said, it can still be pushed really hard without requiring much force. This ski has always appealed to a very broad target group because of its enormous range of uses. Improved on-piste properties and the option of straying away from the groomed runs now and again make the ski even more appealing.

TIP & TAIL ROCKER:

ski tech tip and tail rocker

Character: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle

TITANAL BINDING PLATFORM:

ski tech titanial binding platform

A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski. This way the binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions.

FULL SIDEWALL / MINI CAP:

ski tech full sidewall mini cap

Full sidewall construction with mini cap overlapping to provide best durability.

3D RADIUS SIDECUT:

Three radii in one ski for maximum TURNING & SPEED VERSATILITY IN ALL MOUNTAIN SKIING LONG TIP & TAIL RADIUS Usage of long radii at tip and tail for big turns and high speed // easy steering and maneuverability // disruption resistant at the tip // no radius limitation and ease of turn exit TIGHT CENTER RADIUS Usage of shorter radius in the center for short turns and lower speed // extremely easy to initiate short turns // strikingly agile // effortless and smooth in short turns

BASE P-TEX 2100:

ski tech base p tex 2100

A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability

MULTILAYER WOODCORE 1:

ski tech multiplayer woodcore

The side wall is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the sandwich core. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood built into the center of the sandwich core construction provides numerous advantages: The hardwood part immediately adjacent to the sidewall effects a higher power transmission, improves the edge grip and supports the edge against external forces. The low weight of the softwood part in the middle of the ski brings more agility and maneuverability and reduces overall ski weight. The combination of both wood types running through the entire ski length contributes to an optimal distribution of the ski stiffness increasing the steering precision. It is the first and only sidewall/core technology intended for aggressive on-piste and racing use and capable of delivering the victory and defeat, even if it is measured in hundredths of seconds.

Advanced - Expert
  • If you enjoy hitting the biggest features in the park, aggressively carving high speed precision turns, and taking the steepest lines you can find, you will probably benefit from the features of an advanced - expert ski. These skis will be engineered with power, stiffness, and rigidity in mind. You will likely find layered construction with materials like carbon, metal and stiffer woods.
All Mountain
  • An all mountain ski is engineered to be dependable in most terrains you have in mind. This could include heavy snow, steeps, font-side groomers, ice, and powder. If you have one ski in your quiver, this would be a good choice.
Big Mountain
  • Big Mountain skis will tend towards the stiffer side, usually with more rocker in the tip, and the tail having less. Hard chargers who prefer high speeds and bigger lines will benefit from the features these skis have to offer. These will typically be the widest skis and not be the best choice for piste.

Rocker / Camber / Rocker

  • A rocker/camber/rocker profile has both the playfulness and float of a rockered ski while adding the edge hold of a cambered ski. This profile moves the front and rear contact points medial, but still not under your boot. A rocker/camber/rocker profile is excellent for an all mountain ski, giving you float in deeper snow and crud, with a good edge hold on piste.

SQUIRE 11 TCX DEMO BINDING

The new Squire 11 TCX suits intermediate and lighter weight advanced skiers looking for great power transmission in a very light weight freeride binding. The Triple Pivot Light Toe and Hollow Linkage Heel make the binding compact as well as sturdy. Its SOLE.ID technology allows the shop to adjust the binding to accommodate either AT or Alpine boot sole norms. This gives the skier the ultimate flexibility, and allows them to choose a boot with easy to walk soles like GripWalk, to make it easier and (and more fun!) to walk in ski boots.

Sole ID, Hollow Linkage 2 Heel, AFD Gliding Plate, Triple Pivot Toe, Anti Ice Rail

DIN, ISO, and Boot/Binding Compatibility

  • The DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) scale on your bindings is the ski industries’ adjustment range for the release force settings on your skis’ bindings. This number will be determined by your age, weight, height, boot sole length, and your skier type (not always correlating with your skier ‘ability’). This setting should always be adjusted by a qualified technician after a visual/tactile inspection and function test.
  • Other industry standards define boot sole/lug shapes. A traditional alpine ski boot sole will be specified by ISO 5355. All contemporary alpine DIN bindings will accept this boot.
  • Marker SOLE.ID Bindings are compatible with Alpine (ISO 5355), GRIPWALK, and Touring (ISO 9523) soles.
  • Wear and tear on your boots' soles can and will affect the release and retention of your binding/boot system. Often, these can be replaced by a dealer.

*If you’re unsure if your boots and bindings are compatible, please have a qualified technician give them a tactile and visual inspection.

**All Non-System Demo Skis are mounted with Demo Bindings.
